OUR STORIES
Foundation
Cariplo Foundation
The Cariplo Foundation is a banking foundation that carries out philanthropic activities and is committed to supporting, promoting, and fostering innovation in socially beneficial projects related to art and culture, the environment, social issues, and scientific research.
Each year, an average of more than 1,000 projects are carried out thanks to grants distributed through open calls for proposals, regional and institutional funding, and sponsorships. For Fondazione Cariplo, we oversee the preparation of the Mission Report, which is the document summarizing the foundation’s annual activities.

Reasoning: The document is very easy to read, and the visual aids used (images, tables, diagrams, etc.) are very useful and well-balanced with the narrative text. The Foundation’s activities are presented in an analytical manner, covering both the nature of the initiatives undertaken and the resources invested and results achieved. The presentation of the broader context in which the various initiatives take place is also very effective. Finally, the links provided for further reading and as part of an integrated communication strategy are useful.

2019–2023 Strategic Plan
The Foundation’s need to provide an overview of its mission and operations has led us to develop a coordinated set of documents—a “framework” within which to gradually deepen understanding of the Foundation.
2023 Inequality Report
The agency produced the first Inequality Report for Fondazione Cariplo, “Growing Up in Italy: Beyond Inequalities”, a research study aimed at building knowledge about the various dimensions of inequality, as well as bringing the issue of inequality to the forefront of public debate through a new perspective. This perspective can help us work together to develop new and more effective solutions for building more inclusive societies and provide a knowledge resource for both experts and the general public.
Subsequently, given the interest it generated in Italy, the Foundation decided in early 2024 to translate it into English to make it accessible to a wider audience and to engage in dialogue with other international stakeholders.

TheMissionReportsOverTime
The agency has supported the Foundation in the graphic design of its annual reports over the years, ensuring a consistent stylistic evolution and refining every aspect related to the document’s readability and usability. From typography to the presentation of infographics, right down to the selection of visuals, every detail has been optimized to ensure clarity and effective communication.
